History of the Growler
It is said that early in the 19th century people used crude galvanised pails to transport their beer home or back to work to consume at their leisure. During this transporting process the beer would slosh around in the pail and the escaping C02 caused a growling noise, hence the name Growler was born. You'll be pleased to know that technology has come a long way since then. DFI Growlers use the latest in techology during the manufacturing processes to create a unique solution to the age old problem of flat warm beer. DFI Growlers are double walled, vacuum insulated 304 stainless steel vessels designed to keep your beer fresh and cool for hours no matter what the conditions!
